Alex Jamrozek

About Alex:

Gaining the majority of his experience in the marching percussion realm, Alex has a keen understanding of rhythmic theory involving tempos and meters while being able to implement dynamic control. He has excelled in every academic and other educational opportunity as well as provided in depth instruction for students. He is a featured "Legend" in the quad, or tenor, community. He is currently writing and recording with his Denver progressive rock band, The DAX Equation.

Alex is a registerd Vic Firth® Educator.

  • Member of the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps (1995 - 1997)
  • Member of the Blue Knights Winter Percussion Ensemble (1994, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2000)
    • National Champions 1994, 1999, 2000
    • Tenor Section Leader 1997, 1999, 2000
  • Member of the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps (1998)

Performance
  • Four, three month drum corps tours with shows ranging in the 1000s in attendence
  • Particpated in three Drum Corps International Individual Tenor Competitions (1996: 4th, 1997: 11th, 1998: 6th)
  • Featured soloist in the Blue Devils stage show
  • Performed in 50+ indoor marching percussion ensemble shows with the audience no more than a few feet from the performance area
  • Member of the Denver Broncos Stampede (2003 - 2004)
  • Drummer for progressive rock band "The Dax Equation"
