Arthur (Art) Blevins
is a guitarist, a bassist, and song writer. He teaches private lessons in
guitar, bass guitar,
songwriting & recording, and teaches
song writing seminars for CFU.
In addition to his experience as a musician, Art is a former college professor,
and is the author of the song writing book "Express Yourself: Songwriting for Everyone"
now available on Amazon.com!
Art has played guitar and bass for over two decades. His experience
includes work on 13 CDs, countless live shows,
and a few years working in the Nashville music scene. Now living in the Denver Colorado area,
Art contributed to lead guitar, bass guitar, and song writing duties in the Denver rock band
All7Said. He also performed as guitarist for the progressive country/rock sounds of the
Joe Kissack Band.
He is currently writing, recording, and performing with the Denver-based progressive rock band,
The DAX Equation.
Art also recently contributed, as song writer and guitarist, to recordings by
Iambic Pulse.
Though his primary focus is modern rock, Art is proficient in several styles of music
from metal to folk, americana, blues, country, bluegrass, soundtrack and even experimental genres. On the "Music" page on this site, you will find over 30 examples of Art's work.
